OCT. 30, 2007 – WAVELAND, MA – "It is hard to believe that week 2 is over and that tomorrow these incredible 24 framers will leave ready for the 16 roofers and 22 exterior trim team to arrive," reports Steering Committee member Cindy Lombardo who is wrapping up her first tour of duty in Waveland as on-site support and coordinator.
"So much was accomplished this week, due to the hard work and great weather. Today the Quality Framing crew framed an addition on one of our homes on Combel St. We added a fourth bedroom and sitting area off the back with a hallway connecting them to the rest of the house. All in one day and without complaining! We think we might have a larger family and thought we should be able to accomodate them," she reports in her daily blog report (see all of them by clicking here).
Fundraising continues with the sale of M2M wear... click right here to buy or donate to our project. Volunteers also are needed.

Week two was a huge success seeing the second set of four homes fully framed and ready for the next crews... roofing and exterior trim.

Destiny Tullus and her son Tristan "inspect" the interior framing at one of the houses this past week. They are future homeowners and they have been regulars at the sites supporting the work crews.
