Wayland to Waveland’s
‘Mission to Mississippi’
Day 17 -- Week 3

THURSDAY, NOV. 1, 2007 – WAVELAND, MA

From Lonnie Swarz, W2W Steering Committee

Another beautiful weather day! Blue sky, a bit warmer, but a wonderful, gentle breeze. The roofing is almost complete on the four houses on Combel. Houses #1 & #2 on Combel have some of their siding up. Now we know that House #1 will be grey and House #2 will be yellow. Want to guess what #3 and #4 will be?

David Lombardo put in an incredible day digging three holes for the the supports for the addition on House #3 on Combel. Each hole is 3 ft. x 3 ft. x 3 ft. LOTS of digging!

Destiny and her son, Tristan, came by. Tristan is really a boy’s boy; he was having such a good time at the construction site. Steve Vona spent the day at Maple St. grading the two sides and creating a drainage ditch. Everyone really put in a very hard day’s work, but all with a smile and good humor.

More tomorrow, y’all.

Lonnie
